The Lincoln Marathon is a long-standing tradition in the city of Lincoln, NE and it has become one of the fastest growing races in the country. For over 20 years, Bailey Lauerman has had the honor of creating posters and ads for the event. Many runners have been collecting the posters over the years. Our concepts always relate to running and include a tie to our beloved president.  The 2013 concept is tied to the great success of the movie Lincoln, which was released November of 2012 and the tie back to his iconic pocket watch.

Size: 20x32.
The Nebraska History Museum was able to find an authentic suit from the 1860's as well as a pocket watch from the era so we could photograph it the way we needed it and capture as much detail as possible.
